The location was met my need. It is indeed like a palace. Staff are nice.

hygiene is not acceptable. House keeping needs full training. They just don’t know better. But the hotel ambience is not appealing to the extent of the interior design spent. The area and surrounding not attractive at all. Parking is limited. Staff prompt response is slow.

Overall, the stay was superb. Although I am vegan, meaning I eat only a plant-based diet, with no animal products, the breakfast was more than adequate. The hashbrown potatoes, the sweet potatoes, as well as the wonderful array of fruits, salads, and veggies was great. The one thing which would have made it better, was if there were labels on some of the items on the fruit/salad bar. Some of the offerings were not immediately identifiable, thus I stayed away from them.The hotel property is gorgeous, very quiet, which I love. The location, in proximity to the rest of the city, for me, was perfectly fine. However, I do have a question. What is that facility on the other side of the road/highway, from the hotel? Is it some sort of municipal or government facility? ...just curious...

In terms of improvement, there are two things which standout. The first is this: in the corridor behind the registration desk, before you get to the restaurant, there is a ramp along with steps which lead to a set of elevators, that ramp and floor area overall a very slippery. As a matter of fact, I fell on the ramp while coming with my luggage to check-out. One of the hotel staff members saw when skipped and fell and he came to assist. That is a potentially dangerous condition. Luckily, I was okay.The second thing is, in the guestroom bathroom shower area, the shower floor is like marble or some other smooth stone. Although it is quite nice, aesthetically, once the soap and water got on to it, the floor became very slipper. That again, creates a potentially, very hazardous condition. Compounding that issue, is the fact that there was not bar or railing, within the shower, to hold on to, in order to help with balancing and one's one's self, while standing in the shower. Adequately addressing these two conditions will go a long way in improving the overall level of guest safety in the hotel.

I like the location.

I’ve stayed in hotels across more than 17 countries and over 10 different hotels in Saudi, but this was by far the worst experience ever.The sink in the bathroom was completely clogged, and every time someone took a shower, water started flooding the entire floor. I had to use multiple towels just to guide the water to the drain, see the attached picture!! unbelievable for a hotel at this price!I called reception, and they sent maintenance. They “fixed” it, but somehow managed to create an even worse problem, now the sink was leaking water from the pipes underneath, turning the whole bathroom into a mess again.I called reception again, and they said they would call me back… but they just ignored me. When I mentioned it during checkout, they only said “sorry”. Seriously?! What am I supposed to do with your "sorry" after two sleepless uncomfortable nights?This place is overpriced, overrated, and managed by people who clearly don’t care about guests’ comfort or safety.I strongly advise everyone: do NOT stay here.

Rooms are spacious

Staff are not attentive, i asked for hair dryer and waited for 1 hour, after that i went to reception and the bluntly told me you have to wait because we dont have in all rooms

The staff were polite and decent, and the hotel’s decoration was tasteful. The room was a good size and quiet.

The carpet in my room had a strong, unpleasant smell. It seemed like the hotel tried to cover it with heavy perfumes and constant air conditioning, but that only made things worse and triggered my allergies. It was disappointing and made the stay quite uncomfortable.
